The attorneys in the firm’s Real Estate Group bring a comprehensive understanding and level of experience to virtually all aspects of residential and commercial real estate matters. Our clients range from individuals purchasing their first home to sophisticated owners, investors and developers.


We routinely assist clients in connection with the acquisition and sale of real property, including negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, design build agreements reviewing title and survey issues, performing other due diligence and assisting with like-kind (1031) exchanges. Additionally, our Group has extensive experience representing borrowers in reviewing, negotiating and closing loan transactions involving real estate collateral. Our Group maintains close relationships with lenders, governmental agencies and real estate professionals, such as brokers, title companies, surveyors and architects, in order to assist our clients with every aspect of the transaction.


We represent both landlords and tenants in preparing, negotiating and reviewing letters of intent and lease agreements for residential, commercial, retail and industrial lease transactions, including ground leases.


Our attorneys regularly assist clients in all aspects of residential, office, retail, hotel and mixed-use developments and projects, including condominium and subdivision developments, design-build agreements and projects involving tax incentives. We frequently represent contractors in negotiating and drafting construction contracts and related agreements. Our close relationships with governmental agencies, lenders and a variety of real estate professionals enable our Group to efficiently navigate the complex landscape of real estate development.
